3D BENCHY
Arrives damaged? Free reprint, just film the box being opened. Returns policy
3DBenchy is a tugboat-shaped model designed specifically to test and benchmark 3D printers. It is used to evaluate how a printer handles different types of geometry, making it a standard first print when calibrating or assessing a machine. The model is widely recognised in the maker and engineering communities. PLA is the conventional choice for a benchmark print, as its predictable behaviour makes it straightforward to identify any calibration issues.
Printing 3D BENCHY
For 3D BENCHY we would normally reach for PLA — it is the easy, economical default and suits the majority of models. We set the layer height, wall count, infill and supports to suit the model and how you will use it, and those choices are already priced into your instant quote. Want a specific colour or material? Tell us and we will match it where we can.
