What happens if your print arrives damaged, and where you stand on returns. Last updated: 18 July 2026.
Every Hark Tech print is made to order. We do not hold stock: your item is printed for you, in the material and colour you chose, after you place your order. That makes our returns position a little different from an off-the-shelf shop, and this page explains it in plain English.
If your order arrives damaged in the post, we will reprint it and send a replacement at no cost to you. To make a claim:
Replacement prints are given priority and are typically dispatched within 2 to 3 working days.
Nothing on this page reduces your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a print is faulty, not fit for purpose or does not match its description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will put it right with a free reprint or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Because each print is custom made to your specification, made-to-order items are exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Once printing has started we cannot accept a return simply because the item is no longer wanted.
If you spot a mistake in your order and printing has not yet started, contact us straight away and we will do our best to amend or cancel it.
We print the file you upload, at the size, material and settings you confirm at checkout. We cannot offer a reprint or refund where the printed item is exactly what was ordered but the underlying design, chosen scale or material was not what you needed. If you are unsure before ordering, ask us: we are happy to sanity-check a file or suggest a material.
Email repairs@harktech.co.uk with your order reference and, for damage claims, your unboxing video. We reply within one working day.
