About this print
This simple test tower is a calibration model for identifying Z banding or Z wobble in a 3D printer. It is typically printed when checking vertical motion, as repeating marks or surface variations can reveal inconsistencies along the Z axis. The straightforward tower shape makes the resulting surface easier to inspect. PLA is a sensible material for printing the test because it is widely used and generally produces clear, readable surface detail.
