<h3>Update: There's a new, better version of this model now available here:</h3>

<h3>Update 2: I have now made a version of this model that can be printed in 3 pieces:</h3>
[Moon City multipart, lamp edition](https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-moon-city-multipart-lamp-edition-87610)
========================================
A city inside a ruined moon. Based on a drawing I've seen around, but couldn't figure out the original artist...found many derivatives only.
Anyway I was looking for inspiration and when I saw the drawing I immediately wanted to try creating it in 3D, and this is the result.
EDIT: I've now found out that the original art is called "Arabian Crescent" and it's made by the very talented Chris Kawagiwa: https://www.chriskawagiwa.com
This is a very long print at default scale, which was pretty much necessary for me to print some of the details on the buildings. Took around 12 hours at 60mm/s and 0.2mm layer height. I did make a test print half of the default size, and while it did print I wasn't satisfied on the quality. The buildings and whole of the inside requires no supports, on the outside you might need some at the start.
