About this print

A desktop stand designed to hold a pair of over-ear headphones when not in use. It keeps headphones upright and off the desk surface, helping to organise a workstation. The design prints without supports. PLA is a suitable material, as the stand needs to be rigid enough to bear the weight of headphones and is not subject to heat or significant mechanical stress in normal use.

The MakerBot Headphone Stand went through the same design process used in professional design and engineering industries. Multiple design iterations and 3D prints led to the final fully 3D printable headphone stand. The full size stand prints beautifully without any supports and perfectly matches the Replicator+ build volume. Designer Jackson Seidenberg uses two of these stands at home for his Logitech G930 and Astro a50 headphones.

Formatting may have been simplified. These are the independent maker's instructions and fitment claims; Hark Tech has not independently verified them.
