V2.6 UPDATE 4/30/2018 (Minor)
Changed circular mounting hole on the left side of part to an oblong to better fit the steel bracket and part tolerances.
Changed the air outlets to be more streamlined
4/26/2018 - I PRINTED THIS THING SUCCESSFULLY WITH ZERO INFILL!
But.. - Depending on your Slicer and how it handles the initial bridging layer you may find that using 5%-10% infill works better, so print at 5% with confidence or try 0% infill for a lighter part.
PETG or ABS Recommended (Haven't attempted PLA)
Others have tried PLA with success, but that may come with limitations like ABS printing at higher temps and a sealed enclosure but I am unable to confirm that PLA will not work under those circumstances. My recommendation to use PETG and/or ABS stands until I can comfortable vouch for PLA. I printed the v2.7 out of PLA to test it for myself and so far its doing fine, but I've only printed more PLA.
Print with what would be the top to the bed for best results (so upside down like the image shows).
Do not use supports unless your slicer allows you to put supports at specific locations. You do not want supports filling the airflow channels or you may never get the support material cleared out.
Bridging is required, so if you aren't confident you can bridge be sure to try a bridging test part. The bridging required is…
