So I made a filament sample card earlier this year, and I printed alot of them. However while larger, I didn't realize how large and how much material was used compared to the smaller more common filament samples people use. So I came up with another one!
This one is about 60% smaller than my original one, and has a few extra features. I wanted it to have some nice details as well, and it kind of turned into a futuristic keycard. The extra features are:
- A small bridge test
- A 45° overhang test
- A 0.5 mm transparency test
This filament keycard prints flat with no support and takes about 18-20 minutes with nominal settings.
p.s. There is plenty of space on the back of the keycards, so I took the time to print small labels for each the brand, type, and color. Font size was 10pt and I used Bebas Neue.
Double p.s. if you want to store these in a nice tray, here is a link to the tray I designed: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3593590
