This is a phone or GoPro holder that is powered by the elastic force of a rubber band. It's designed to hold a heavy phone/tablet, or a lightweight camera.

It bolts on the left/right side of the printer, and uses the 2 bolts that are already there to attach it.
Or it can slide onto the 4040 aluminum extrusions with a quick release.

Many camera holders mount onto the X gantry, I didn't like the angle this provides, or the added weight to the Z axis. This allows you to set the camera right in front, where you can get the best viewing angle.

The connectors that I designed are made to replicate the GoPro style hardware.

The "Ender_Mount_4040_Vslot" is a quick connect system. You can easily remove the entire assembly by just pulling it out, or just snap it back in. It just slides into the 4040 aluminium extrusions.

**Installation**

First you need to tie a slip knot with a rubber band around the peg in the slide.
Fit the track and slide together.
Then you need to pull the rubber band through the hole in the slide, and hook it around the peg in the track.
It can be pretty difficult to pull the rubber band through. I suggest making a hook with a paperclip, or some filament.

Each rotating connector piece has a cavity for a 10x3mm magnet. This part is only intended to hold the mount upright, or a slight angle. It would need a larger magnet, or a more physical connection to hold it…
