I dropped one of my screw boxes and had to return this mess of screws and dog hair back into something usable. Measuring each single screw turned out to be a time comsuming pain. So this idea of a credit card sized tool turned up.
You can choose between 3 versions:
- Single color with recessed numbers. Use this version if you are unsure which to print.
- Single color with raised numbers.
- Dual color version where you can print the numbers with a differenc color. This is the easiest readable version
Printing tolerance is 0.2 mm. If your printer happens to work at a higher tolerance, you may want to drill the holes to their respective size.
Update 2019-02-27: Reworked the design: made the numbers higher to ensure more than one print layer for the text and added a recessed version where numbers are better readable in single color
