I designed this housing after I got a CR-10 V2 and really liked the cooling fan housing that comes on it. I had been using a Hero Me single 5015 with good results, but wanted something a little more compact. This design is about 8mm smaller in the X and Y axis. It uses smaller 3x10mm air ports to create higher velocity air directed right at the base of the nozzle. I tested the flow from each port using a flow meter and it is exactly the same on each port so there should be good symmetrical part cooling.


This design is also very inspired by the Hero Me, in fact you will need the HM_Base_Lock_No_ABL to install it (the orange thing in my picture). It is compatible with the various ABL sensor mounts for Hero Me. I have printed them and tested the fit however I do not use ABL so I cannot test them.
