Have us print this for you
PLA from £6 inc. UK delivery on letter-sized prints. We slice, print on a calibrated Creality K2 / Bambu A1, QC and post.
*UPDATE: Having seen some better reference images, I tinkered with the tubes to make them more accurate. These optional; look at the versions with "_Detailed" in the name and you'll see what I mean. I've found them to print cleanly when rotated to be mostly vertical and using Cura's "super quality" setting (0.12mm layer height), which is especially important so tubes with the meshy/knobby pattern can be dry-brushed to show that unique pattern. Someday I'll paint mine up to share so you know what to expect when drybrushing. Maybe.*
*Includes LaFactoria3D's original mask parts that this is designed to fit. It's a good design, but if you feel their updated version provides better protection I urge you to use it instead.*
Replacement cap for LaFactoria3D's COVID-19 MASK
--------------------------------------------------------------------
While printing mask parts for *Lowell Makes* I wanted to find some way to help healthcare workers relieve some stress. Making replaceable caps seems the best way to offer an adjustment; these clip right onto existing masks without interfering with function and maybe they can lighten the mood in pediatrics.
This is my second mask: the Bane version. It clips in place of the existing cap, doesn't interfere with airflow, and fits under most face shields. I wouldn't suggest using it for cosplay as I made some serious adjustments to conform to the base, and had to increase the size of the mesh opening to increase ventilation. …
