Yet another stackable box set.
Inspired by yuan4114's and ebraud's designs, I redesigned the set of boxes.
Basically I added a few chamfers to the model to make it stiffer.
I also designed a rational set of boxes with three heights (SML, MID, BIG) and the basic dividers (none, one or two dividers resulting in ONE, TWO and THREE storage zones in each box).
These boxes are most probably compatible with other similar designs.
The height of the SML boxes is one third of the BIG boxes.
The height of the MID boxes is one half of the BIG boxes.
In other words : 3 SML boxes = 2 MID boxes = 1 BIG box.
So when you stack different box heights you can end up with nice combinations.
I designed the appropriate tops for each box size (inspired by ebraud's design)
Beware , these tops fit on my box designs but may not fit on other similar boxes found on Thingiverse.
I finally designed some trays that fit in the 'ONE' boxes.
The height of the trays let them fit nicely in the 'SML BOX ONE' along with the 'SML TOP'.
However you can also stack several trays in the 'MID BOX ONE' or the 'BIG BOX ONE'.
I named the STL files with a rational naming convention you can understand by looking at the SketchUp screenshot I provided.
I also added the SketchUp file so you can further remix the design if you wish. If you do so, please provide the remix credit.
The walls of the boxes, tops and trays are thin so the infill value has no influence on speed or material use. Set…
