Kid / adult COVID face mask adapter (strap / earloop hook tightener and ear saver)

Kids’ (and adult) COVID masks can be too loose. The mask can fall off completely if the ear loops are loose and slip off of the ears, or the mask may just be too loose and not seal well.

Even if it’s not too loose, sometimes it helps to have a way to retain the facemask when eating so it stays around the neck and doesn’t get lost.

This helps tighten the straps / ear loops so they connect at the neck rather than loop around the ears. It hooks around the ear loop strap, and has 2 hooking locations for adjustable tightness.

I've made two versions, the main difference is one of them is thicker and has holes that probably don't affect the structural integrity too much. This makes it only a bit heavier than the thinner model.

Edit: By request, I've added "kid_mask_adapter_04b_longer_experimental" - this has additional hooks, and is longer, at about 100mm wide. Thank you user B-game for testing it it, and she notes that you can cut off extra hooks with a pair of nail clippers if not needed.
