An easy to print spinning top toy!
Comes with 3 interchangeable tips (I recommend the ball shaped tip if you give the top to your kids)
Inspired by similar designs I thought it would be nice to design my own.
This is the result of several iterations, with some important design elements for long running times:
- low center of gravity
- most mass on the outer diameter for best flywheel effect
- grippy handle piece for good accelaration
- low air drag
- "see through"-effect due to slim spoke design
Apart from that, its a nice 2hour-print with high sense of achievement ;-)
