I've seen a few models of similar containers on here, but none were quite what I wanted, so I made my own. I tried hard to be as accurate as possible and think it turned out well. It's not really designed to go with anything in particular, I just wanted to make it as a gift box or candy holder sort of thing. Would be pretty easy to customize by putting a design along the side.
This prints in 5 pieces that hold together decently well on their own, but should be super glued. The doors print as one piece with the walls. The hinges are stiff at first, but loosen up after working it a bit. I've printed a few of the hinges and played with them a lot, but am yet to break one without really trying.
This also has 4 voids for 3mm x 6mm cylindrical magnets (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083Q8LCXQ) to hold the doors shut: 1 each top and bottom of the right door, and 1 each in adjoining rails of the bottom and top piece. This keeps the right door shut, which overlaps with the left door to hold it shut as well. Drop the magnets in place between layers at 3.3mm and 3.7mm for all pieces, which will be in the last couple minutes of the print. I was able to easily do it by checking the timing of the layers in the slicer, setting a timer, and putting them in without stopping the print.
I printed at 0.1 mm (base layer of 0.2mm) with 100% infill. It's all pretty thin, so having less infill wouldn't do much IMO. I don't think this will print well at 0.2mm, but you're…
