This is really the last and final version i gonna release of the R2D2, the droid is loaded with features for you to discover and use. I have published a guide here in microsoft publisher (the only file format thingiverse accepted).
And included the guide are printing, assembly and basic electronics.
i have not printed this droid myself but have gone thru the design so many times i am shure everything is designed right.
If you want the guide in pdf, the gerber files and the separated STL files don't hasitate and send me a email to [email protected] and i gladly send you the files for free.
Importent:I have not designed any other electronics then the pcb in the gearbox to read/control the functions in the dome. So its up to you the builder to decide what microcontroler you wan't to use.
Updated:r2d2_skirt_batt.stl = redesigned and made room for 2 pieces of 18650 batterys
AND have separated the STL files (ziped) and updated the assemblyguide..

Errors:have got info that the utilityarms didn't fit...(to tight), i have updated the utilityarms and can be download as body_utilityarm_blue.STL
