Customizable universal key

An universal key (triangle, square or hexa)

I modeled a radiator bleed key (it's a 5mm square key) some time ago using Autodesk Fusion 360 software.

Since then I discovered modeling with Openscad and realized that modeling an universal key in Openscad was not that complicated.
The advantage is that it is completely customizable!

So here it is

If you have not already OpenScad, a free and light 3D modeling software, use the online Customizer tool available here to generate the stl file.

But the best is to have OpenScad

Under OpenScad:
1 - Open the universal_key.scad file
2 - Edit the paramaters that are at the beginning of the scad file to personalize your battery holder
2 - Clic on the "calculate rendering" button (or press the F6 key)
3 - Once the render calculation is complete, clic on the "STL" button (or press the F7 key)
4 - That's all !

Edit 2025-02-09 : add the possibility to change grip among 3 different grips : classic, strong and short !

J'avais auparavant modélisé une clé de purge de radiateur (c'est une clé carrée de 5mm) avec le logiciel AUTODESK Fusion 360.

Depuis j'ai découvert la modélisation avec OpenScad et j'ai réalisé que modéliser une clé universelle avec OpenScad n'était pas si compliqué que cela !
