A new version of the cool fidget sword toy. The original design comes from SmileyPrinter.

Now the sword has a cool Mastersword design. I did my best to replicate the design from Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Ive been working on this in one version or another for a rather long time. And im just really happy with the result.

There were some details, especially in the sheath that just wouldnt work when we are talking about such a small toy. I did have to pull in the wings, otherwise they are to weak and tend to break. Similar with the handle itself. The more compact design makes it more durable and less likely for kids to break.

You will need glue and some 6x3 disk magnets to assemble this print.

The sword and the sheath both have groves for the glue and to guide assembly. Just print 2 halves of the blade and 2 halves of the sheath. Apply glue, and they should easily lock together. The hilt just slides onto the tang of the blade with a little glue to hold it in place.

If your printer prints a little large and the parts have some trouble fitting together, a bit of heat from a lighter strategically applied will make them fit together easier.

When glueing in the magnets, be sure to flip the magnets over when inserting into the opposite half of the blade or sheath. The…
