*Update* An addition of a collet head system for the helping hand. The head accommodates collets which compress on whatever tip you are using. each collet gives a range and should accommodate any size tool withing the range of collets.
You will need the head and nut as well as at least one collet to suit. There are two heads, one shorter to choke up the collet a little more.
Collets from 3mm - 10mm.
A solid collet which you can remix mix to accommodate a specific hole size or a hot thread.
Thin blank collet that you can add a small hole or shape this is for holes 3mm and smaller to better grip
Blank collet that has wider gaps for remixing to a specific size. this gives a greater range of size the collet can hold.
By loosening the nut you would be able to rotate the tool to suit a position needed.
This is a Helping Hand or Third hand for why you are working on projects such as soldering or electronics. . Unlike commercially available which are usually a alligator clip on a extending arm with no helpful adjustments, this can articulate and with the use of a combination of arms can help balance slightly heavier objects.
I did a minor remix of the HeyVye Modular Mounting System Update which was for holding a camera or cellphone holding system.
