Q&A:
Q: Does it work?
Yes
Q: How long does the water last/what bottle to use?
On the 2x6 Version a 0.5 liter / ca. 17 us fl oz will last for about a 5-7 days
Q: Which kind of plants is this made for?
Probably all kind of seeds work for the first 1-2 weeks. After that period you might consider moving the plant depending on its preferred environment. Here is a list with plants liking moisture soil in general:
- Lettuce, spinach, and other leafy greens These sprout quickly and like consistent moisture.
- Cabbage, kale, broccoli Cool-season crops that germinate well in damp soil.
- Celery - Prefers steady moisture right from germination.
- Basil Likes warmth but appreciates moist seed-starting medium.
- Chilis (Start)
Q:What is the use of the red piece?
Its a floating indicator - right now its not really floating, so you can skip printing the part for now.
Q: What bottles do fit?
So far the feedback is: Most PET/PETG bottles used in EU/USA…
