Most of the Minecraft-inspired lanterns don't have a well designed light panel so I made my own version.
I suggest you print the following files in contrast colors to get that minecraft-ish look and feel. It's rather easy to print as you really just need two colors + white for the light panels. You can print all files as you need but I highly recommend to print the LIGHT PANEL with 100% infill so avoid any weird textures.
PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS
For the Bambu people I included a 3FM file otherwise print all files one time except the following:
4x Light panels because you need 4 of them
8x CORNER -- those need to be glued on each side of the BOTTOM and the BODY
8x CHAIN-CONNECTOR -- you need them to connect the open chain LINK together
4x CHAIN-LINK -- see below chain assembly but you will need four
3x CHAIN-PART
ASSEMBLY
Make sure all parts are clean and all supports are removed.
1) Glue the 8x corners on the each side of part BODY and BOTTOM.
2) Glue together part TOP-BASE and TOP-BODY, and then glue the resulting part into the top hole of BODY. It should be a tight fit. DO NOT GLUE THE CHAIN HOLDER YET.
3) Take one CHAIN-PART and put it around TOP-CHAIN-HOLDER. That's the beginning of the chain. You need to intertwine each PART with the CHAIN LINK's and then glue them together. Use the CHAIN-CONNECTOR to keep them aligned.
4) Fit the light snuggly into the BOTTOM Base and make sure you can tighten it properly and the light actually turns on.
I use the following…
