Made these for use with Silent Death ships, but should work with other miniatures.

I decided to make my own flight stands after the little nub kept breaking off of the store bought stands.
The design has a hole through the center of the stand to allow a 1/16" brass rod to be placed through the stand. 1/16" was the right diameter to work with Silent Death ships.
The base fits for a 1" hex map.
I did use a drill bit to chase out the hole to make sure the rod would fit well, and then a little bit of CA glue to make sure the rod doesn't move.
