Since my Daemon build included additional electronics, namely an RJ-45 breakout board for the toolhead, extra MOSFETs, and a buck converter, I designed a panel to hold those and aid in cable management. There are two main components: a bar which secures to the rear upright 8mm rods via metal clamps, and a 100x100mm panel which holds any accessory boards.
Key features:
- Two bar options, one plain and one with a pair of the "small ring" attachment of the cable organizer by cgongora69 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:343093)
- Panel sized to be printed on the Daemon itself if any revisions are needed
- Panel includes cutouts for cable routing and minimizing material usage
- Panel includes 4" zip tie holes
- Panel to bar attachment is 3x M3x8mm screws, spaced 30mm apart horizontally and the center hole is 6mm offset. My design uses heat set inserts for the panel side
- Panel accessory mounts give 3mm clearance over the panel, but only 1mm at the bar mounting points
- cgongora69's cable organizer is used on either side to neatly route cables to the top end of the printer. I have motor and LED wires on one side and toolhead/endstop wires on the other
