This is a model for a battery cover on the 88-91 Honda NT650. It is not a replica of the OEM, but it is meant to cover the battery and provide a small tray under the seat. It serves the purpose of protecting and holding the battery down and covering the terminals while providing some additional storage. You can modify this model to add things like a USB charging port mount or the like.
This is designed in two parts to minimize the support needed. The mounting ear that drops below the tray will need to be screwed (recommended) and/or glued onto the tray after printing. You can resize the screw holes to fit screws you have. I used some screws that I had laying around that I removed form an item I recycled, so I am not sure of the screw size. The holes are 3mm diameter, 16mm deep, with a 6.5mm diameter counterbore at 8mm depth. I recommend printing with at least 3 wall loops. This will strengthen the parts but also provide material for the screw to bite into. I printed in PETG with tree supports. If you really want a single piece print you can use the one piece model, but it will use a lot of support material.
Enjoy!
