Solitaire Chess is a single-player brainteaser that adapts standard chess rules into a fast-paced logic puzzle. It's an excellent way to sharpen your strategic thinking, whether you are a chess master or a complete beginner!
How to Play
Setup: Choose a challenge from the PDF booklet and place the pieces on the 4x4 board grid as indicated.
The Golden Rule: Every single move MUST be a capture. You cannot move to an empty square.
Movement: Pieces move exactly like standard chess (e.g., Knight in 'L', Rook in straight lines). Pawns capture diagonally forward. Note: The King can never be captured.
Goal: Eliminate pieces one by one until only one piece remains on the board.
What to Print & Prepare
3D Printed Parts: * 1x Game Board
10x Pieces (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Rooks, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, 2 Pawns). Print all pieces in the same color.
Realistic Board Overlay: Print the included Print.pdf at 100% scale (no scaling), cut it out along the lines, and glue it onto the top surface of your 3D-printed board. This gives the game a professional, clean, and highly realistic finish!
