I recently decided to switch to double curtain rods, but all of the brackets were for 1” and 5/8” rods and I didn’t want to replace my 3/4” rods. Without the shims, the rod slides in the joint even with the screws tight. I designed these to fill the gap which holds the rod tightly and also has the added benefit of leveling the rod.
One spacer is for 3/4” -> 1” (19mm to 25.mm) and a second for 5/8” -> 1” (16mm to 25.4mm) for the smaller telescoping rod.
Printed in PETG, 10% infill with 3 top and bottom layers to make them slightly more flexible.
