PLA from £6 inc. UK delivery on letter-sized prints. We slice, print on a calibrated Creality K2 / Bambu A1, QC and post.
Printing & Usage Tips:
!!! LEFT grip/LEFT plate handle !!! :
They are not left/right, In Slicer use Mirror option to print the RIGHT version of grips and handle
-Preferred Material: I highly recommend using PLA because it offers the highest stiffness, which is crucial for handling force feedback without flexing. I tried PETG-CF, but it was too flexy.
-Temperature Warning: Please note that PLA has a low heat deflection temperature. Since the Cammus C5 base can get quite hot during long, intense racing sessions, there is a risk of the plastic softening.
-Recommendation: To prevent any deformation, I strongly advise either lowering the FFB power/holding torque in the software or adding external cooling (like a small fan) to the wheel base to keep temperatures in check.
PRINTING SETTINGS:
-Wall Ordering (CRITICAL): Set to Outer/Inner (Outer wall first). This is crucial to ensure strict dimensional accuracy so that all parts fit together perfectly.
-Wall Count: 6 walls (perimeters) – highly important for a better stiffness
-Infill: 20% Gyroid (provides excellent omnidirectional stiffness).
-Top/Bottom Layers: 5 layers each.
Supports: Use Tree Supports for flat sections printed in the air (overhangs/bridges).
-Layer Height: I personally printed this at 0.24mm, but feel free to choose your preferred layer height depending on the finish you want.
