Dual-Hose Conversion Kit for HOMCOM & OEM Portable Air Conditioners

This is a custom-engineered dual-hose conversion kit designed to transform a standard single-hose portable air conditioner into a highly efficient dual-hose system. By pulling intake air directly from the outside rather than creating negative pressure inside your room, this modification stops hot outdoor air from seeping under doors/windows and significantly increases cooling performance.

The main intake base dimension is 275mm x 246mm. While designed specifically for a HOMCOM 10,000 BTU unit, many of these portable air conditioners are white-label OEM machines sharing the exact same rear chassis layout, so it will likely fit many other brands as well.

📦 What to Print (3-Part System)
The project is split into three distinct components to manage independent intake and exhaust routing:

A/C Side Outlet: Mounts to the upper exhaust section of the air conditioner.

A/C Side Inlet: Mounts over the lower intake grill area of the air conditioner (275mm x 246mm base).

External Side (Print Twice): The window/door interface adapters. You will need to print two copies of this file—one for the intake hose and one for the exhaust hose.

🛠️ Installation & External Mounting Tips
Window/Door Interface: For a quick, highly insulated setup, I suggest cutting two matching holes into a piece of rigid insulation board or a very thick piece of heavy-duty cardboard sized to fit your window or sliding door gap.
