It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A series of decorative sculptures combining the form of the traditional laughing Buddha with heads drawn from popular culture, including characters from Star Wars, Batman, and the animated series Futurama. Each piece functions as a display ornament or desk sculpture. PLA is suitable for these models, providing sufficient detail to render recognisable character features and available in a broad range of colours and finishes.

The laughing Buddha statue is probably the most known statue of Buddha. Chris Milnes creates "Pop-Buddha" project which is a line of 3D-printed sculptures of Buddha whose heads have been replaced with those of popular characters. I made some popular. You can also download cleaned without head statue of Buddha (!buddah_no_head.stl) and make your own Pop-Buddha.
