About this print
A two-part duck call with a separate reed, designed as a functional accessory for hunting and wildfowling. Blowing into the call produces a quacking sound, and the reed position can be adjusted to vary the tone. The design was originally developed as a practical STEM education project covering 3D modelling and printing. PLA is suitable for sound-producing instruments of this kind, as it is rigid enough to hold the reed in consistent contact with the sounding board.

Printing Duck Call with Reed
For Duck Call with Reed we would normally reach for PETG or ASA — they shrug off UV, heat and damp far better than PLA outdoors. We set the layer height, wall count, infill and supports to suit the model and how you will use it, and those choices are already priced into your instant quote. Want a specific colour or material? Tell us and we will match it where we can.
