It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A printable recorder, a woodwind instrument in the flute family traditionally associated with music education and beginner tuition. The model produces functional musical notes and is suited to STEM and arts education settings. PETG is worth considering for a playable instrument of this kind, as it handles moisture and repeated contact better than PLA and holds its shape well, which is useful for a piece that will be handled and played often.

Thank you nycdesigner, tbuser, and landru for your helpful suggestion, guidance, and sticking with me til the end. The recorder is one of the oldest woodwind instruments. In the hands of an experienced player it creates a sound synonymous with Renaissance music. Often used in elementary music classes because of it's ease of operation. With 3D printing everyone can have one of their own to make beautiful music on... or wailing screeches if they never got past "hot crossed buns".

Formatting may have been simplified. These are the independent maker's instructions and fitment claims; Hark Tech has not independently verified them.
