About this print
A functional mechanical watch featuring a tourbillon complication and a 3D-printed mainspring housed in a going barrel. The movement uses a Swiss lever escapement and runs for roughly 30 to 45 minutes on a full wind. It is an advanced build that demonstrates the precision achievable with modern FDM printing, though some manual trimming of parts is typically required. PETG is often used for the moving components as it provides better layer adhesion and a degree of flexibility compared to PLA.

Printing 3D-printed Watch with Tourbillon
For 3D-printed Watch with Tourbillon we would normally reach for PETG — it is tougher and more heat-resistant than PLA, ideal for parts that take load or live somewhere warm. We set the layer height, wall count, infill and supports to suit the model and how you will use it, and those choices are already priced into your instant quote. Want a specific colour or material? Tell us and we will match it where we can.
