It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A stand designed to hold a roll or sheet of paper backdrop for photography, creating a seamless infinity-style background behind a subject. Built-in spring clips grip the paper to prevent slipping during a shoot. PLA is adequate for this application as the stand is used indoors under low mechanical load, and the material is stiff enough to hold its shape during use.

This is my take on an infinity style photo backdrop stand. It has built in clips to hold the paper. I added springs to enhance the grip on the paper.

No support needed.

This is not a "remix" technically as I designed mine from scratch but it was absolutely inspired by the "Photographic Sweep Stand" by HPaul.

Also, I used a great chip clip design by srwilson58 and modified it for my purposes here.

I added "no spring" versions which just have the spring clip separated. You NEED to print the spring clip file ONLY if you print the "no spring" versions of the stand sides.

Formatting may have been simplified. These are the independent maker's instructions and fitment claims; Hark Tech has not independently verified them.
