It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A fully printable G-clamp comprising a frame and threaded screw that apply clamping pressure to workpieces, designed to print without support material. A jaw protector is included to prevent marking, and an extended version offering greater clamping depth is also provided. The design is suited to light workshop tasks where a small clamp is needed. PETG is a sensible choice, as it provides stronger layer bonding and better impact resistance than PLA for a part loaded in compression and tension during clamping.

Small G-Clamp fully printable without support.
Additional a larger frame and screw is provided which adds another centimeter.
The protector can be reused for the larger clamp.

The screw has a fair amount of space, so it should fit without problems into the frame screw hole. Should anyone still have an issue let me know and i can provide an additional version.

The best way to mount the protector is to use the clamp itself by closing the clamp until the screw ball and protector ball joint clicks together or use your thumb.

For my requirements i used only 25% (~3 hour print) because i need just to hold things in place while the glue is drying. For more force 100% infill is recommended and don't forget it's not made of steel.
