It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A large posable spider figure with articulated legs that can be repositioned and held in place. The jointed construction draws on ball-joint techniques used in similar articulated animal models. It is typically used as a display piece or as a novelty item by collectors and hobbyists. PLA is a straightforward choice for this model, keeping print costs low while producing a rigid and stable structure.

Several friends commented that my squid reminded them of a spider, so I decided to make a large posable spider using the joints from Ellindsey's Ball-Joint Articulated Octopus. Since I changed so many things, I have included them all here so you won't have to look elsewhere for parts. I used the Pull Chain Fobs Tarantula from 123D as a source model for the body.

Updated on 9/11/16 with all non-manifold shapes fixed.
