It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A filament spool holder designed to accommodate a wide range of spool sizes and weights, intended for mounting on desktop 3D printers including the Anet A8 and HyperCube. The design uses 608ZZ skateboard bearings on an M8 threaded rod for smooth, low-friction unwinding. Assembly requires M8 threaded rod, two M8 nuts and two 608ZZ bearings, none of which are printed. PETG is a practical material for this functional bracket, offering better long-term resistance to workshop conditions than PLA.

a friend of mine made this universal filament holder. You can mount filament spools in a wide range. For maximum rated dimensions see attached picture. I tried up to 2.6kg material spools without an issue. For smooth unwinding it uses ball bearings. What you need: - M8 threaded rod - 2x M8 nut - 2x skate board ball bearing 608ZZ - 8mm (core) - 22mm (outer diameter) - 7mm (width) If you are looking for a mount for 20x20 aluminium profile http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2122402 or a clip on mount for Anet A8 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2068469 Update 08/12/2020: added long and short variant with improved self centering function
