Have us print this for you

PLA from £6 inc. UK delivery on letter-sized prints. We slice, print on a calibrated Creality K2 / Bambu A1, QC and post.

Update: This model seems to be a fail. Edf at this size is just not powerful enough to make it fly. However if you are interested in designing your own planes, this might help. Follow the printing instructions, run the parts through your slicer, and inspect the results. If you are designing your own, remember that 0.6mm is the thinnest section you should use for it to show up on the slicer.

You need advanced printing skills to do this.
Can be printed on a cheap printer like an Anet A8 if you have it properly calibrated.

Many thanks to Dave Pinchbeck for helping with design and printing advice.
Thanks to 3DLabPrint for the inspiration.

This is an experiment so i could learn how to design rc planes to print.

I HAVE NOT FLOWN IT YET!
It is a work in progress.
I might have to re-design the wing, and change the thrust angle.
Yeah, i know thats a bit lame, but i cant get a good launch, not enough speed.
Wont hand launch, and my bungee wont launch it. Might work with wheels, i dont know.
If you manage to fly it before i do, let me know how it goes.

I dont know if the thrust angle is right. You might need to cut extra cheater holes for enough thrust. The CG is a guess, but should be pretty close.
Its a bit heavy for a 50mm EDF, so you need a strong bungee and ramp to have any hope of launching it. I will not do any more this size because of the power to weight problem.
