About this print
A small spacer adapter for the Creality Ender 3 extruder, used to increase spring tension without stretching or modifying the original spring. Several thickness options are available, adding 0.5, 1, 1.5 or 2mm of compression, and the part can be swapped easily to adjust filament grip. PLA is sufficient here as the adapter sits in a low-stress position and does not encounter significant heat during normal printing.

I have seen a lot of people unhappy with the tension of the spring for the extruder of the Ender 3. Some users stretch the spring, but I like this technique instead. Simply print the adapter, remove the spring, then choose whether you want to add .5 or 1 mm. Real simple and easy to change if you do not like your results. Per request... 1.5 and 2mm version added. =)
