It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A 3D printed enclosure for a DIY handheld gaming device built around a Raspberry Pi single-board computer. The case is designed to accommodate a touchscreen display and standard gaming controls, taking the form of a classic handheld gaming unit. It is intended for hobbyists building their own portable retro gaming hardware. PETG is a good choice for handled enclosures as it provides reasonable rigidity and a smooth finish.

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of that classic gaming device by building your own with 3D printing and DIY electronics from adafruit.

The 3D printed enclosure will house all the components and you can print it in your favorite color.

We'll hack this classic gaming controller and reuse the printed circuit board, buttons and elastomer gaskets.
