We didn’t design this model. It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

This is a print-in-place compliant mechanism that functions as a dial indicator for levelling a 3D printer bed, originally designed with the Ender 3 in mind. The part uses flexible sections built into its geometry to create movement without any separate assembly, so it comes off the printer ready to use and requires no supports. PLA prints reliably at fine layer heights and provides the stiffness the compliant mechanism needs to register movement accurately during the levelling process.

This is my Print in place - Compliant mechanism using Dial indicator!
