It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A bed levelling aid designed for FDM printers, printing five squares at the four corners and centre of the build plate. The diagonal print sequence, moving from the centre outward to each corner, helps reveal adhesion differences across the surface. Stopping after the first layer is sufficient to assess bed flatness, while completing the full print shows flow rate consistency from the degree of line overlap. PLA works well as a test material, being predictable and straightforward to tune.

Hey guys,

This bed levelling design will check the four corners and the middle of the bed by printing squares and the best thing is it prints diagonally from middle square to the corner ones to check the bed adhesion.

You can stop printing after the 1st layer because that is enough to check the bed adhesion. But printing all will give the final decision of the flow rate by showing whether the printed lines are overlapped.
