It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A storage box designed to hold AA batteries, with a locking ball hinge mechanism and holes sized to accommodate the slight dimensional variation found across different battery brands. The box closes securely and keeps batteries organised in a drawer, kit bag or workshop. PETG is the recommended material, as its slight flexibility is useful when assembling the ball hinge and helps the mechanism withstand repeated opening and closing over time.

This is a remix of my Rugged Parametric Box to hold AA Batteries.

Printed in PETG for slight flexibility needed around the locking ball hinge when assembling.

Edit: Resized the holes to accommodate inconsistent battery sizes
