It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A desktop smartphone holder with a gear-driven tilt mechanism, allowing the viewing angle to be adjusted while the phone stays in place. Variants are available for both portrait and landscape orientations, and the design consists of two pieces that slide together. A looser-tolerance version is included for easier assembly where print dimensions tend to run tight. PLA is suitable for a desktop accessory such as this, as it holds the gear geometry accurately and produces a rigid, stable stand at standard print settings.

Hi this is one of the cool gadgets I designed over Sunday, Geared phone holder, you can adjust the tilt of your phone.

**Update:** Included two new holder variants for landscape phone position. Base without CT letters and a Base v2 version with tighter tolerances.
Base v1 Lose version has additional 0.1mm clearance for easier fit. The bigger gap allows sliding the pieces together more easier.

The models I printed with the following settings:
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer: 0.5mm width / 0.25mm height
4 top & bottom layers
2 walls, 10% infill.

**Hint: The two pieces are sliding together from the side.**
