It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

About this print

A 1:32 scale model of Stephenson's Rocket, the historic 1829 steam locomotive. Designed for garden railway use, it can also be displayed on a shelf as a standalone piece for anyone interested in railway or industrial history. PLA works well for a detailed scale model as it captures fine surface geometry accurately, though ABS or PETG may be worth considering for outdoor garden railway environments.

This is a building kit of the locomotive Rocket from 1829.
It is a model that you rarely see on the model railway. would be nice to have one in my garden railroad. Which I now have. www.utj.se
I have printed it on the Replicator 2X ABS.
I do not believe you need a model railway to print this model. It also works well to put on a shelf if you want. Or as a toy. The gauge of this locomotive is 45mm same as LGB.

The model is 25cm long. model is painted with colors corresponding to the model. To see images of the original locomotive, look at the web / Stephenson's Rocket / Images.
The Rocket that I made a 3D model of in Nov 2014, and who has become very popular and has now been downloaded a large number of times.
