It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A complete set of chess pieces modelled on the official World Chess Championship design, covering all six piece types. The pieces are sized to fit boards with squares between 5 and 5.5 centimetres. Each piece includes a threaded recess in the base where a bolt or threaded rod can be inserted to add weight and stability. The set is suited to use as a functional playing set or as a display piece. PLA produces the clean surface detail these pieces call for.

The design of these chess pieces is heavily based on Official World Chess Championship Chess Set, with slight artistic freedom every here and there. In original sizes, the pieces fit nicely to a board with 5cm to 5.5cm (1.96" to 2.16") squares.

Version 2: There is a threaded recess in the bottom of the pieces where a bolt/threaded rod can be placed to add some extra weight.

The sizes of the pieces (b=base, h=hight, v2=bolt):

- Pawn (b=2.92cm, h=5.47cm, v2=M10x12)
- Knight (b=3.23cm, h= 7.13cm, v2=M10x20)
- Bishop (b=3.17cm, h=7.65cm, v2=M10x20)
- Rook (b=3.57cm, h=5.92cm, v2=M10x20)
- Queen (b=3.79cm, h=8.50cm, v2=M10x25)
- King (b=3.81cm, h=9.53cm, v2=M10x25)
