It’s a community file from its original creator, and now and then a file has a fault that only shows up when we print it, such as walls that are too thin or parts that don’t join properly. If that happens we’ll let you know and try to fix the file, which can add a day or two. If we can’t get a good print from it, we’ll refund you in full.

Good to know before you order

TPU has a £11.50 print-order minimum. ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum; PA-CF has a £69 minimum. Delivery is shown separately in your cart.

About this print

A scale model of the Harley-Davidson Evolution V-twin engine, broken into printable sections for assembly. PLA works well here as it holds fine surface detail and is straightforward to print across the multiple parts needed for a clean, stable assembly.

Adapted from André Schilling's model (https://grabcad.com/library/evolution-engine-1) I cleaned the files up and broke them up into printable pieces. The model is scaled so that the completed engine is about 4" tall, but I recomend scaling 150% - it turns out way better. It also has enough detail to print at well over 200% scale if your printer is big enough. (Picture shown is scaled 150%)
