About this print
A small boat-shaped model designed specifically for testing and benchmarking 3D printers. Used by hobbyists and engineers to assess printer performance, check calibration, and measure dimensional accuracy across a range of challenging features. The design includes overhangs, bridges, and fine details that expose common printing deficiencies. Its recognisable tugboat shape makes it straightforward to spot defects in a completed print. PLA is the standard choice for test prints, as it is widely available and easy to dial in on most machines.
