As well as Birmingham itself I regularly print for Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich, Dudley and Walsall and the surrounding West Midlands area. Everything ships by Royal Mail Tracked or Parcelforce, so it makes no difference whether you’re in the centre or out in the villages.
A lot of Birmingham jobs are functional engineering parts, brackets, housings, jigs and replacements that need to take heat or load. Those print in ABS, ASA or PC (polycarbonate) on our enclosed Bambu P2S rather than display-grade PLA. Most jobs coming in from Birmingham and the wider West Midlands fall into a few buckets: replacement parts people cannot buy any more, prototype housings for small electronics projects, jigs and fixtures for workshops, and one-off bits for cars and bikes. Automotive work is a big chunk of what we do for the Midlands. Trim clips, dashboard brackets, vent louvres, washer-bottle caps, airbox fittings, classic-car switchgear surrounds, anything that has gone brittle, snapped, or is no longer made. For under-bonnet or hot-engine-bay parts we steer you toward ABS, ASA or PC because PLA will sag in summer heat. Cabin and boot parts are usually fine in PETG.
If you do not have a CAD file, that is normal. Post us the broken part with a few measurements written on paper and we will work from that. We cannot always rebuild a complex shape from a photo alone, so the original, even in pieces, helps a lot.
Small parts start around £6. Bigger or more detailed jobs are priced on the actual print time and grams of plastic, so you see a real number before you commit rather than a vague band. We will not print parts that look like firearm components, items that infringe someone else's copyright, or safety-critical parts where a print failure could hurt somebody (load-bearing structural brackets on a moving vehicle, climbing hardware, that sort of thing). If you are not sure, ask.
