Honest, up-front timings for both sides of the workshop. Mail-in repairs turn around in 5–10 working days from arrival; 3D prints dispatch in a few working days, with Express and Bulk tiers if you need it faster or cheaper. Tracked postage both ways, UK-wide from Basingstoke.
The short version. A typical mail-in repair is back in your hands within 5–10 working days of arriving on the bench — quote and confirmation same or next day, the repair itself 1–3 days, then a next-working-day tracked return. A standard 3D print is dispatched within a few working days of your order; pick Express at checkout for 2-day dispatch, or Bulk for large runs at 10–14 days. These are realistic working ranges, not best-case marketing — if anything is likely to run longer, you'll be told before you commit.
The clock starts the day your device lands on the bench, not the day you post it. You get a photo within 24 hours of arrival, and an email at each stage after that.
Describe the fault by form, email or WhatsApp and you get a price range and time estimate within one business day — before you post anything.
Diagnosis, fix and a real-world load test on the bench. If the scope changes, the job pauses for your approval — it never silently runs on.
Posted back by Royal Mail Special Delivery (tracked + insured to £750, included). Most UK addresses receive it the next working day.
Arrival to back-on-your-doorstep, for the large majority of repairs. Harder-to-source parts are the main thing that can extend this — flagged in your quote.

Once you've priced a file on the instant quoter and paid, your job joins the print queue. Choose a lead-time tier at checkout to trade speed against cost:
| Tier | Dispatch | Price effect | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Express | 2-day dispatch | +70% | Deadlines, prototypes, urgent replacements |
| Standard | A few working days | Baseline | Most one-off and small jobs |
| Bulk | 10–14 days | −20% | Large runs of identical parts |
Runs of 5+ identical parts also earn automatic labour discounts (5%–40% by quantity), shown live in the quote. Prints ship Royal Mail Tracked 48 for £3.95 — free on labour subtotals of £40 or more.
Common console and laptop parts are stocked or next-day. A rarer board-level component can add a few days — you'll be told the realistic timeline in the quote, not after.
If a second fault turns up mid-repair, the job pauses for your approval. That protects your wallet but can pause the clock while we agree the new plan.
Engineering materials (ABS, ASA, PC, carbon-fibre, TPU) print on the enclosed machine on request and may be queued slightly differently from in-stock PLA and PETG.
Timings are working days and assume Royal Mail runs to schedule. Bank holidays and severe weather are outside anyone's control, but tracking means you always know where it is.
Most repairs return within 5–10 working days from the day your device arrives. The quote and confirmation are usually same day or next, the repair itself is 1–3 days, and Royal Mail Special Delivery is next-day on the return.
Standard prints are typically dispatched within a few working days of your order. Choose Express at checkout for 2-day dispatch (+70%), or Bulk for large runs at 10–14 days (−20%).
For prints, select the Express lead-time tier at checkout. For repairs, mention your deadline when you ask for a quote and I'll tell you honestly whether it can be prioritised before you post anything.
From the day your device arrives on the bench, not the day you post it. You get a photo within 24 hours of arrival so you know it landed safely.
