Cracked LCD or OLED panel? We replace it with the right part — and tell you why OLED costs more.
The original Switch and Switch Lite use an LCD panel with a separate digitiser and front glass — three layers bonded but separable, so a cracked screen doesn't always mean a full assembly. The Switch OLED is different: the OLED panel, digitiser and glass are factory-fused into a single unit, and any crack means the whole assembly has to come out.
That's why OLED replacement costs noticeably more than LCD. We use the part that matches your model and tell you up front which it is, so there are no surprises on the quote.
Original Switch, Switch Lite and OLED all need different panels. We confirm yours before ordering — no near-enough substitutes.
The fused OLED assembly is genuinely more expensive. We explain why before we quote, so the figure isn't a shock.
Switch display ribbons are short and easy to tear. We use proper opening tooling and reseat them under loupe before powering up.

OLED is glass-fused so any crack means the whole assembly comes out. We confirm your model from photos before quoting firmly.

On the original Switch and Switch Lite the LCD, digitiser and glass are separate layers — sometimes only the glass needs replacing. On the OLED model Nintendo fuses all three together, so a cracked outer layer means the entire OLED panel has to be replaced as one part. The OLED assembly itself is also a more expensive component to source.
If the digitiser still responds and the glass is sealed, you can run on a cracked panel. Risks: glass shards working into the bezel, moisture ingress, and cracks propagating into the digitiser layer over time. If touch is failing or the crack reaches the LCD active area, replacement is the only fix.
Free photo quote. LCD replacement on original Switch and Switch Lite is the cheaper bracket; OLED is noticeably higher because of the fused assembly cost. Photos of the damage let us quote firmly before you post.
No. The internal storage is on the mainboard and not touched during a screen replacement. Saves, installed games and Nintendo account data are unaffected.
On the original Switch and Switch Lite, sometimes — if the LCD is intact and only the digitiser has failed. On OLED, no, because of the fused assembly.

Switch 2 is a newer platform and parts availability is still limited. Send a photo and we'll tell you whether we can source a panel for your specific model.
